Sabrina's classes invite students to know and honor their limits, non-judgmentally, and to use the practice to find their way into their own body, rather than trying to force their bodies into any specific shape. Having the privilege of receiving and sharing this practice gives Sabrina a sense of purpose, knowing the difference it can make for each person's life. Thanks to the focus on physics & physiology offered by the Alignment Yoga program, healing of decades of trauma in the body and mind became possible. She had to give up her career as a Wedding & Portrait Photographer, and spent years in unbearable pain, losing hope for improvement. Because of her experience with suffering and grief around the loss of function in her body, Sabrina understands that yoga isn't really about what you can or can't do physically, but how your respond to what's happening in each moment.īefore discovering Alignment Yoga, Sabrina used a walker, and had little to no use of her right arm.
